Spruce up Savings and Upcoming Events...
Dear Gardening Friend,
Here in the Midwest, we’ve had one of the best summers ever to garden. Alas, now with a chill in the air, the season winds down to the last few tasks.
But, before we kiss the year goodbye, I’d like to let you know trees, shrubs and perennials love to be planted in the fall. Use root stimulator when you plant and then a week later to give your fall plantings the best start possible. Right now our trees and shrubs are 20% off and all perennials 50% off.
It’s also the perfect time to plant bulbs for spring color. Our selection of tulips, daffodils, crocus, and more is hard to pass by. Don’t forget about your windowsill herbs-fall soups and stews will taste even better with fresh herbs.
And if all this isn’t enough, Mary Ellen’s been busy getting our garden shop ready for the holidays. She’s put all the fall items on sale for 25% off to make room for some awesome new Holiday merchandise. The natural birch Christmas Trees and Mistletoe balls are sure to be a hit.
We also have seasonally coordinated flags, mailbox wraps and outdoor mats for all the “sharply dressed” yards in the neighborhood. The classic favorite bulbs Amaryllis and Paper Whites are available, too. Start them now to for a showy table centerpiece. No holiday season is complete without them. Stop in now for a sneak preview of all our holiday fares!
Mark your calendar now: HOLLYFEST ’08 is Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9-4.
