What's Bugging You?

If the dreaded Japanese Beetles have made a 5 course meal out of your plants serve them a dessert of “Captain Jack’s Deadbug Brew”  and watch them turn to “toast.”  Captain Jack’s is an environmentally friendly spray that will also take care of bagworms.  Bagworms are caterpillars that make a spindle-shaped bag which they attach to the branches of trees.  Their favorite hosts are Arbovitaes, but they’ll also hang around on a variety of other trees, too.   Spray now to keep their damage at a minimum.

Mary Ellen, Janet and I have just returned (exhausted) from our trip to the Merchandise Mart.
